THE STORY the winter of the new millenium, etienne was the youngest of three to a dysfunctional marriage that ended before he'd begun school. his mother re-married financially well and swiftly. life went from beer cans and townhomes to country clubs and gated neighborhoods. this lead to tennis academies and suburban decadence, an intuitive boy adapting into a world of male social hierarchies, selfishness and recklessness. college found etienne attending ucla and thriving in the fraternity scene. he played tennis for the school and studied nursing, specializing in sports medicine. all of this somewhat contented him until a random encounter with a vixen sports journalist opened his mind to the possibility of his own talent as a writer, and the true nature of his soul. a lover, a poet, a singer, a loner. after graduation spring 2025, a winter spent fumbling through the shadowed forest of romance, he moved to atlanta and began working in a quiet and comfortable dermatology office, playing challengers during the summer and writing poetry. he rents a room in inman park and lives alone. he recently adopted a cat.

THE VIBE psychedelic earth, sensual cosmos, the pale sun through an old window, neon sunset through the branches, blue moss. auric and present. there's a sullenness that bursts into gradient waves at the slightest provocation of sundrop. head in the clouds, eyes flow through the horizon in bubble paths. he's a bit clueless about people and has a tendency to keep to himself. he struggles to take things lightly with others, he's been described as gullible his entire life. there's a lamplight intensity inside of himself that comes out in various shades, unstable hues. he believes loyally in whatever he feels his heart choose, the value of letting his heart know emotions often outweighs preceived consequences. mostly, he just lays in bed and goes to work, if he's not going to sip a drink and people watch. he sleeps in a cocoon with built-in shelves around the turret room he rents. his nickname growing up was bunny and it hasn't really faded. he used to behave in his own attempt of hypermasculinity to allow the name to exist without threat, a grenade pretending to be a detonator. there's a quivering flame behind his glitzy green eyes.

i am currently writing my characters as nondating. i am willing to ship without chemistry if the plot is interesting. writer lives with c-ptsd and work very hard to keep my mental health in my rl, therefore have a lot of boundaries and standards regarding time and communication. i am extremely patient and considerate, very observant and do my best to make sure my world is a nurturing one. i sound pretty serious, i know. i'm not. i just take my time and attention and creativity seriously, sometimes this means i take myself seriously. sometimes i may take myself too seriously. i also take my friends and my connections seriously.
i am not interested the type of friendships that involve consistent gossip and i will softblock people that i feel are too obsessed with hating people on here. we all have enemies and i get it, but i don't want to talk about it all day. it's hard to trust someone who is preoccupied with reputations.
